Changing the World, One Policy Dog at a Time
Legalization of MarijuanaWe believe in the legalization of marijuana medically and for recreational use on a federal level. This will effectively generate more than $6 billion dollars a year just from levying a tax on marijuana. The legalization will also help to relieve some of the stress put on our prison systems from the immediate decriminalization of those involved with the drug.

Reproductive IssuesAs a Pro-Choice candidate, we will support and protect a women's right to choose. Support of the supreme court decision in the case of Roe v. Wade is important. We will also repeal the Title X restrictions in order to continue to fund Planned Parenthood, not only for abortion purposes but for the many other essential services they provide.

Gun ControlIn order to protect our children and the citizens of America we will enact universal background checks and close the "gun show" loophole as soon as possible. The issue of gun control is extremely important to the Puppy Party and is something we feel should be addressed rapidly after inauguration. The safety of our people is a top concern.

Comprehensive Immigration Reform |
Within my first year of presidency I want jump start negotiations for comprehensive immigration reform. This includes a pathway to citizenship that is easier and cheaper, for those who can't afford it, the DREAM Act, and border security. I also want to reunite the families that were separated by previous administrations.

With our current outdated and unacceptable public school system, we need change, and we need it now. The concept of teaching to learn instead of teaching for standardized testing will become the new policy for public education. To help this policy be carried out, an increase in teacher salaries is necessary not only to encourage more people to engage in the education process but also to help boost the economy. Additions of more courses that teach life skills, such as personal finance, will be implemented to help our students become more well-rounded citizens.
